DIY Little Sayings Beaded Bracelets! SO EASY!

Hi!! Today I'm coming at you guys with the very first DIY I've ever posted- which is crazy because I am CONSTANTLY doing little projects like these. This specific DIY is inspired by bracelets I've been seeing on Instagram. This adorable company seems bracelets that look like this starting at $20 each:

They are so super cute and absolutely adorable. I love the stack of a bunch of them. But because I am a college student, I don't have $100 to drop on a stack of beaded bracelets, lol. I figured I could go to Michael's, get some supplies, and make my own version.

(No hate to this super cute company, Little Words Project, because their bracelets are truly adorable! These pics above are from their Instagram, which I follow and LOVE!!)

I'm going to link all the picture supplies here: - crystal beads

So the total of these items is $16.96-17.96, depending on the optional heart charms you buy. I made probably 25-30 bracelets out of this and I still have more supplies, so you definitely get a lot of bracelets for less than $20. You can go to your local Michael's store, order them online, or do free in-store and curbside pickup! These are definitely able to be customized further, with whatever charms, beads, or letters you want to buy. I was trying to stick to replicating the ones I found on Instagram.

This DIY is the most self explanatory one ever haha. I cut my elastic to be about a foot long, so I had plenty of excess for tying the bracelet off at the end. I taped one end to the table so it would stay still. I literally just looked at some inspo pics from the Instagram pictures, and just started beading. I wasn't really doing symmetrical patterns, but I'd do, for example: red, pink, clear, pink, purple, red, light pink... and repeat

You can do something like that, have a more symmetrical pattern, or just go totally random. It's so so simple. I would pick out the letters for what I wanted each bracelet to say ahead of time so I didn't have to fish them out when it was time to put them on. At about 1/3 of the way done with the bracelet, add on your letter beads, depending on how much space they'll take up. It really doesn't matter when you add them because you won't see where you tie the bracelet off. Add your word(s), and keep on beading until your bracelet is at its desired length!

I actually had little heart charms at my house already. This step is completely optional, but I added them to match the ones from Little Words Project. At this point, add any desired charms or anything to your bracelet right before tying it off.

To tie, I'd tie in a double knot, then pull tight and stretch the knot. Then I'd tie it a third time for good measure!!

I don't really have any pictures of me making them and I can't take any now because I'm at school and my supplies are at home!! But it is the most self-explanatory thing ever. This post is mostly just to serve as inspiration to make your own bracelet instead of spending $20+ on one that looks the same!

I had suchhh a blast making these before I left for school. I made myself like 15 and made a million more for my mom and sisters. We love them and started putting hilarious sayings on them too. Gemma's says "hey girl" cause that's her new favorite thing to say. One of my mom's says "cool mama" and Eva has one about the Vampire Diaries, of course. It also worked out that I made these in February, because the colors and cute sayings were perfect for Valentine's Day.

Thank you guys for reading my probably very poorly explained DIY!! Even if you don't go out and make some of these bracelets (even though you definitely should), I hope this at least inspires you to think if you can DIY something before breaking the bank for it unnecessarily!

I hope you enjoyed my very first DIY post!!

Talk soon.
