Hellooo everyone!!
If you weren't already tired of seeing and hearing about these shoes, I'm about to write a whole blog post on them! Since these shoes are taking the internet by storm this fall AND I was able to get my hands on both pretty early on, I figured I'd talk about them in a blog post!
I know that these Uggs were just restocked and already sold out again. I'm not exactly sure how else to get them because I got them from the Ugg site like 2 months ago. My mom was able to get the Birkenstocks from Bloomingdale's but I know they're selling out like crazy too. If I convince you to snag either of these trends, definitely just keep checking online because I know they will have to keep getting restocked.
TAZZ UGGS
I am quite literally obsessed with the Tazz Uggs. I saw somebody repost about these from last year during summertime and I SPRINTED to buy them before they sold out. I knew they'd be going fast! I sized up and got a 9 for these and they fit perfectly (so def size up especially if you're in between!!)
I LOVE the platform on these. I am a platform shoe girl for life and platform Uggs were something I never knew I needed. I wear these with basically everything and am able to get away with wearing fashionable slippers and it's somehow totally acceptable.
I was originally worried about the red stitching and it clashing with outfits. Now it's probably my favorite aspect of these besides the platform. The red is such a nice detail and it's so neutral that I think it actually ADDS to outfits.
If you haven't seen my fall wardrobe capsule (you need to check it out ASAP), I style almost every outfit with these shoes in the TikTok. Further evidence that you will wear these shoes constantly if you buy them.
They also somehow go with everything? I had to dress up for a club meeting and wore a white button down shirt and jeans with my hair slicked back in a bun. I paired that outfit with the Uggs and for some reason it made the entire thing.
These shoes get a 5/5 review from me and may be my favorite fall shoes of all time. These shoes are totally worth the hype. Comfy and trendy is my fav combo!!!
BIRKENSTOCK BOSTONS
I've personally always liked these shoes. I had a pair of Mudd clogs like 10 years ago and my mom hated them sooo much. But for some reason I was obsessed. I totally take credit for this trend and declare that I was years and years ahead of you bitches!
I agree... they do look like "potato shoes" LOL. I've heard so many insults about these shoes and they make me laugh because they are weird looking shoes but they're somehow simultaneously cute? I don't know what it is about these... but they are ugly cute?
My sisters were sooo mean to my mom and I about getting these shoes. They said they were so ugly and they'd never wear them. Well, my mom just told me that a certain somebody asked to wear her "ugly Jesus shoes" to school already!😂
The one complaint I have is that these shoes are annoying to break in. I do have sensitive feet when it comes to blisters and new shoes so my feet did hurt a little after I wore these for a long period of time. Since I've kept wearing them though it's definitely gotten better.
They are definitely not quite as comfy as the Uggs, but they're such cute little slides for fall! I would give these a 4.5-4.75/5! Just mostly because you can't get comfier than Uggs.
