Hey there!!
By the time you're reading this, I'll already be back, but this weekend my family is headed to New Jersey/New York! My brother has baseball games in New Jersey and my mom, sisters, and I plan to take a train into the city while we are there. For privacy and safety purposes, I'm waiting until we are home to post this Pack With Me blog post and all the travel content!
Today is Thursday the 24th, and we are leaving at 4pm. Since this is simply a travel day I'm wearing a comfy outfit. Tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday are the city days. I have outfits, shoes, and accessories packed for those days, along with makeup and hair utensils. Sunday is a baseball game day/travel day, so I'm wearing a more casual outfit again.
I created our 2 day city itinerary which is jam-packed with fun. Let me know if anyone would be interested in seeing my map/itinerary. I might just throw it in when I put together a New York Travel Blog post with all of the photos! Stay tuned for that, cause again, I'm already home by the time this post is going up!
I'm going to get into it here! This post may be a little shorter since I didn't pack a TON, but we'll see how it goes, hahaha.
BAG
Like last time, I used my Michael Kors small suitcase to pack my stuff. I still can't find a link for this exact suitcase since I got it from the outlets. But I absolutely love it for small weekend trips like this. I'm also carrying my Louis Vuitton Neverfull in the car.
TRAVEL FIT
This is my mismatched travel outfit, lol. I'm wearing my my fav Amazon built-in-bra tank with my fav Aerie shorts. I absolutely love these shorts because they're longer than typical shorts so my butt doesn't hang out. They're also super comfy and the color is adorable. I have them in a small in the sycamore color, but Aerie has a ton of other color choices and they're all just as cute. I'm wearing the Amazon top in a small in the camouflage pattern. I wear this star cardigan from Altar'd State all the time. It is so soft and so adorable too. I always wore this sitting at my desk in my dorm doing homework! It's one of those pieces that I'll probably keep forever. Sadly it's a few years old and I can't find a link for you guys. But I will link a similar material cardigan that's also from Altar'd State. It's perfect for travel!
DAY 1
cropped denim jacket / skirt / tee / Vans
This is my first day in the city outfit. My mom, sisters, and I all got these black and white checkered Vans to match together while we walk around. I wear a size 8.5 in Vans. I'm wearing this cute Altar'd State skirt paired with this graphic tee both in smalls. (Sadly I can't find the skirt anymore since it's a little old. I'll link a similar one.) I'm planning on tucking the tee under my bra so it's cropped a little more, if that makes sense. I am going to wear the denim jacket around my waist or in restaurants/stores if it gets a little chilly. The one I'm wearing is actually my mom's from years and years ago, but it's just a cropped one from Old Navy. I'll probably take my LV crossbody or black crossbody with this outfit.
This is the day we are doing some girlier and scenic things. Expect lots of photos in this outfit. I found an all-pink restaurant and a butterfly mural. This is also the day we are doing a little shopping and checking out Washington Square Park, the Empire State Building, and more. Stay tuned for all the deets in the next post!!
DAY 2
Before you even look at this photo, I want you to know that I am not just wearing a green bra around New York, hahaha. The olive green top I'm wearing was in the washing machine while I was packing, so I just threw a green top in there for reference. I'll link the actual top, haha. It's actually the same top I talked about in my Amazon Summer Tops post. I'm wearing grey-green in a size small with nipple covers. I'm also wearing my black AE mom jeans in a size 2 and these Steve Madden strappy studded sandals.
This day is going to consist of some more sight-seeing and the Statue of Liberty! My dad and brother might be tagging along with us on this day too. More deets soon! :)
DAY 3
Sunday is sadly not another city day, but the day we are watching a baseball game and heading home. I'm just wearing this same Amazon tank in white size small (w nip covers again) and this adorable PA hat from Altar'd State. They have a bunch of other states too. These are the AE mom shorts, and I'm wearing a size 2. I love these cause they're a little longer in the back (more coverage, yay!) and not so tight (the mom style). Wearing the same Steve Madden shoes or possibly the vans again if they're comfier.
EXTRAS
For the hotel I literally just packed a pair of sweatpants and a baggy t-shirt to sleep in. I have some comfy bras and extra undies!
TOILETRIES/MAKEUP/HAIR
I am packing lots of toiletries on this trip! I have all my makeup, deodorant, and my toothbrush/toothpaste in the Vera Bradley cosmetic bag above and I threw in these 2 shadow palettes. I'm taking my Revlon hair dryer brush that I've been using to blow my hair out and for extra volume when I straighten it. I also have my straightener and curling wand for different hair styles each day in the city!! I'd love to do some sort of beauty post soon with how I do my makeup or how I do certain hairstyles.

I love traveling so much and I'm excited to have at least 2-3 more travel series coming this summer! YAY!!!
