Hey there ladies! It's felt like forever since I've posted on the blog. The past few weeks have been a little crazy for me. I was in quarantine for a bit, then came down with a sinus infection and ear infection at school. That led to 2 days in the Bucknell COVID hotel, which I actually ended up enjoying. I had 3 pretty big final papers to write for school along with a project to complete. Then after all that, I had to pack up my dorm room and move out.
I am home now and done with everything for school. I can't believe my freshman year of college has already come and went. It's absolutely crazy to think I'm going to be headed back to Bucknell in the fall as a sophomore. Life is just going so fast nowadays.
On a more positive note, I am sooo ready and excited for this summer at home. Because of all the restrictions and COVID-related issues last summer, my friends and I weren't able to go on a senior trip. Sooo, we planned a short trip to Ocean City, MD this month! We are all so excited to spend some time relaxing and hanging out together after the past crazy and exhausting year.
Since I'm planning a few smaller trips this summer, I wanted to do some travel-themed content on the blog. Today I'm sharing a packing post that I put together for you guys last night. I am usually a terrible overpacker, so I tried my best to pack early and plan out outfits for each day we are going to be there.
I am definitely going to post a travel blog with photos from the trip and I'm even considering vlogging? LMK in the comments if that's something you'd be interested in seeing/watching. I'll share all the details about the trip when I get back, but for now here is my Pack With Me, Ocean City, MD edition!
BAGS
I got this stunning Michael Kors suitcase and weekender bag set for Christmas. We found it at the outlet store on Black Friday and got it for a huge discount. I can't find this exact suitcase on the MK site, but I'll link a similar suitcase/weekender set. I couldn't find the bag either, but I found a similar one that's also from MK, it just looks like a newer version. I love these bags because they are small but still capable of holding a lot. I got this straw Target circle purse in January when I visited Olivia at school. It's the perfect travel purse AND beach bag. It's pretty big so it can hold my book, wallet, phone, snacks, sunscreen, and a lot more. I'll link everything here:
SUITS
This is my first "triangle" bikini top since having my surgery last year. It is on the lower coverage side but I am obsessed with the color. I love the little ruffle edges on the top and bottom. I got this suit from Amazon and it's perfect for laying out/tanning. I got a size medium so the top would cover as much as possible. It's adjustable so I would definitely size up.
I love these two Triangl suits. I got size small bottoms and size S+ tops. This size is for girls like me with smaller waists but bigger busts. I used to get their S++ option too. I love the pattern of the flower suit and the sparkles on the orange are to die for. Definitely more coverage than the first option, but still on the lower coverage side in my opinion. Definitely size up with this brand. Triangl suits also come with travel bags, so I was able to store all of the suits in this post in the bags.
I know I'm definitely packing too many suits, but since these are so small and easy to pack I'd rather have options. This suit is literally the same one but in different colors. I love the neon orange, especially with a tan. The stripes are so cute and the white is super classy. I love these suits for me because they give complete coverage and are the best for swimming. Also, the most family-friendly option I've seen so far this summer. The bottoms are slightly high-waisted but just enough. Lol, this is turning into an Amazon bathing suit hall! I have the orange, stripe multicolor, and white suits.
I loveee this suit and this pattern. This is another great coverage and family-friendly suit that's good for swimming. I love the cute tie around the waist that you can tuck up to cover more of your stomach or tuck down to cover a little less. The top comes with a strap so you can also go strapless if you're laying out. This green cheetah pattern is so fun and unique, I am obsessed. My sisters said this was one of their fav suits I've gotten this year. I have color A-Green.
OUTFIT 1 - Spectacular Summer Set
I am in love with this Lulu's set. The pants are loose and so comfortable. The top is a little halter that you tie with a bow behind your neck. I got the medium because I was afraid it would be too tight, but it's definitely a little big on me so the small would've worked better. I sized up with the shorts and got a 4, but definitely could've stuck with a 2. This is such an adorable summer outfit. I am planning on wearing this for summer date nights too! I paired it with my Target straw purse and you can see how nice and big the bag is. On the left I paired the set with my white Altard' State hat and my white look-alike Hermés sandals from Amazon. On the right I paired it with my pink Gucci slides, which I'll probably end up wearing because I have the white accessories incorporated into another outfit.

OUTFIT 2 - Glowing in Green
This green strapless off-the-shoulder dress from Lulu's is a showstopper. I am wearing a size small. I can't wait to wear this out to dinner. It is so flattering and such a unique color. I forgot to put shoes on for the picture but I'll probably pair this with the white sandals or pink Gucci slides, depending on what's on our agenda. All of these looks pair beautifully with the straw Target purse.
OUTFIT 3 - Beachy Business Babe
I'm going to admit, this is a total Pinterest-inspired look. I love how chic this outfit is and you can take it in so many different directions. The base of the shorts/button-up can be dressed up or dressed down depending on how you choose to style it. I styled this look with the same white sandals and white hat I've already linked. I got these adorable frayed shorts from Target last summer for only $15 and they're easily my favorite piece of summer denim. I got this blue button-up from Target to pair with it, and I tucked in one side into my shorts. I got a medium so it would be oversized. (Peep Gemma in the background of this picture😆)
OUTFIT 4 - Travel Girl
For the drive over, I'm planning on wearing my fav Nike biker shorts and this Amazon tank top with a built-in bra. I'll probably wear this on the way home too. I'll definitely bring one of my Bucknell crewnecks or a cardigan in case it gets chilly in the car. I have both in size smalls. I'll probably wear this with some beach-friendly flip flops that I can wear on the beach and at the pool as well.
OUTFIT 5- Lazy Lounging

I got this adorable Aerie lounge set and have been obsessed with it ever since. I'm packing this to wear around the hotel room in the mornings or after showering in the afternoons. I have both in a size small and in the celebrity green color. I love the other colors as well. The material of this set is so comfortable that you'll literally never want to take it off.

Besides all of my accessories, shoes, suits, and clothes, I am going to be throwing my toiletries and beauty products into my weekender bag as the trip gets closer. I'll also be throwing extra underwear/bras and a sleep shirt into the suitcase. All of the clothes, bathing suits, and shoes fit perfectly into my mini suitcase, leaving the weekender bag for smaller bathroom items as well as a phone charger and random things like that. I'll just be stacking my hats on top in the car for safe-keeping.
I hope you all enjoyed this post. I had such a fun time putting it together and planning all of my outfits, which is usually something I dread. This definitely helped me pack way more efficiently than usual, hahaha. As long as you all enjoyed this, I'd love to continue the Pack With Me posts throughout the summer and my travels!
Stay tuned for a blog post all about the trip. And make sure to let me know in the comments if you would watch a vlog if I'd make one. I am so excited to be back for summer and can't wait for all the exciting summer content I have planned!
Thanks as always for reading.
