Hey everyone!! I'm so happy to be doing a travel-related post today. I've missed doing all my summer travel content so much. My fall break is next week so I'm headed to Tucson to visit Andrew. I am so unbelievably excited!!! Literally counting down the seconds.
Tucson is super cool because it's hot but not humid, it's just dry heat. I've been checking the weather and it's still 85-90 degrees during the day, but it drops to 60 at night. Because of that, I had to make sure to pack versatile outfits for both daytime and nighttime. I can mix and match a lot of what I packed to have an outfit for any temperature.
Also keep in mind that a few things I'm taking aren't pictured because I'm waiting for some deliveries. I'm also going to grab a few things from my closet at home! With that being said, I tried to take pictures of everything that I have with me in my suitcase. This is a bit of a makeshift post, but I wanted to give you guys something before I was gone on my break. :)
LUGGAGE
I'll be using my go-to travel items this trip (as always)! I have the Michael Kors small luggage in brown. This exact one is from the outlets and not a newer piece, so I don't have the exact link but I'll link the newer version here! It is so spacious and fits allll my crap. The MK weekender bag fits on top perfectly and works as your personal item under the seat. I also got mine from the outlets, so I'll link a similar one here. I'll be using these cute pieces as my carry-on and personal items, and I'm also planning on wearing the Lululemon belt bag with my phone/wallet for easy access.
TRAVEL OUFIT
I'm not going to share my exact travel outfit because I'm so excited for it to be a surprise AND because I'm still waiting on 2 of the 3 items to arrive in the mail!😂 I will say that it's similar to what I wore last time, but a 2021 Bella version!! I'll be sure to share if I end up posting a travel blog about the trip!
PACKED:
I'm so excited about this outfit AND it's so perfect for the Tucson weather. I'm wearing my favorite black Target shorts in a size 2 with this long sleeve mesh shirt in a small. This is perfect for afternoon Arizona weather because it's long sleeve but it's also super thin mesh material. I am just wearing a white bra underneath and you can barely even see it. Either way it's super trendy/cute and I love the patchwork pattern. This is a great item to have in your closet for unpredictable fall weather. I'm packing my white Vans and a new pair of shoes that are being delivered Wednesday form Etsy! I'll probably wear this outfit with my new shoes, but it obviously would go perfect with Vans as well.
Also... excuse the fact that I am currently obnoxiously pale because I'm waiting to self-tan until closer to the trip! I promise all of these outfits will look much cuter when I'm tan and have my hair & makeup done.😂
I obviously packed my white Amazon tank, as it has quickly become my most-worn piece of clothing. I LOVE that I can wear it without a bra and just with some nipple covers. It's so convenient to throw on and literally looks cute with everything. It also folds up nice and small so it's barely taking up any space in my suitcase! I packed this cute orange ruffle-y skirt from Altar'd State to wear during daytime and these long orange plaid pants for afternoon/night. I'm wearing smalls in everything but a medium in the pants because Altar'd State pants typically run small. As you can see I'm still trying to incorporate my fall colors through these otherwise summery outfits!
I'm also packing this patchwork skort from Altar'd State that I'm obsessed with too. The only issue is that I accidentally shrunk it in the wash! If I hadn't it would definitely be what I'd pair with the white tank. So over the next couple of days I'll be testing out some internet hacks to attempt to de-shrink it! LOL.
This is another really good outfit for the AZ weather. This thin wrap top from Altar'd State is actually supposed to go with the skirt from the last outfit (which it looks super cute with!), but I like to wear them separately even more. I love the cute orange pattern/color. I'm wearing it here with my white Target shorts. They're currently sold out of the white online, but I love the regular denim color too. I'm not usually a white after Labor Day gal, but Arizona has got me feelin some type of way!
I got this fringe skirt from Altar'd State and I've been wracking my brain trying to think of fun ways to style it. There's honestly so may ways to wear a skirt like this, but to make it fun and casual I decided to wear it with an oversized Arizona tee that I also got from Altar'd State. I love that you're left with some fringe poking out from under the tee. I'm wearing a size small in the skirt and a medium in the tee. With my new shoes, a tan, and some styled hair, this outfit is killer.
Andrew and I are going on a date night to celebrate our 2 year anniversary! I'm going to be wearing my fav Abercrombie leather pants in a size 27 with this Amazon tank in black. It's one of the packages I'm waiting on! I'm obviously going to style this more than you can see in the photo with some jewelry and a purse and maybe some cuter shoes if I have room for another pair! 🤪
We are also planning a fun night out where I'm going to wear this black corset top from White Fox Boutique. I'm waiting for this to be delivered too, so hopefully it fits well! I'm wearing it with my ripped wide leg Zara jeans and just some Vans that I don't mind getting dirty. This could also be really cute with the Abercrombie leather pants!!!
I packed this fun Halloween shirt (it's from a random online store and I can't find it this year to link it😭) and orange Aerie shorts for just hanging out. I made sure to pack some biker shorts and a workout tank in case we go to the driving range or something like last year. I also packed my green Yankees hat from Amazon, that would literally go with any of these outfits if I wanted to make them more casual. I'm also going to throw in my mini Chloé bag to have a purse for date night!
Andrew also just told me that we are going to the University of Arizona football game one of the nights too, but I think I'll just wear one of his jerseys and shorts/pants depending on the temp!
Along with the fun stuff, I also packed up the basics. Bras, underwear, socks, toiletries, makeup, hair stuff, jewelry, sunglasses, my glasses... all that jazz.
