Weekly Recap! 2/15-2/21


Hi everyone! I'm back today with another weekly recap post! This week was another busy and exciting one! I ate lots of really good food this week. This is practically a food post, hahaha.


MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15TH

On Monday, I took all my morning classes and then got dressed. Me, Brenna, and Emerson trudged to town in hail to get these pink Bucknell crewnecks from the Barnes & Noble Bookstore!! It was 100% worth it, look how cute they are:

After getting our Bucknell merch, we got All Star Bagels for brunch. I got the double egg and cheese sandwich with a hashbrown between and a vanilla latte with almond milk🤤🤤

We headed back up so we could all finish the rest of our classes for the day. I stayed in my room and relaxed until it was time to head down for Bachelor Monday! We made a charcuterie board and it turned out sooo cute and yummy. This night was so so fun. We wore our matching shirts and snacked while Matt James eliminated 4 girls in a single episode!!! WHAT?! I think we did a decent job with the charcuterie board, I even attempted to make pepperoni roses (while almost throwing up in the process).

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 16TH

I literally didn't get out of bed until 4:15 on Tuesday. I have no idea why. I did all of my classes on zoom from my bed. I hate when I do this because I like to be decently productive and tire myself out during the days. It was just one of those days where I was so completely exhausted and didn't want to move! I let myself have this one, especially cause the weather was crappy.


I went to the gym with Brenna and Emerson at 5. I definitely usually like going earlier but it wasn't too bad. I picked up a card from Andrew in the mail on the way down. It was absolutely FREEZING on this day. Brenna and I almost got taken away from the wind walking down the hill! After the gym we went to the dining hall and I got this yummy quinoa stirfry with veggies and tofu:

After eating, I ran back up here to shower and was in bed for my 7pm hall meeting via zoom. Then I posted last week's weekly recap and tanned and went to bed!


WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 17TH

I spent pretty much all of Wednesday doing work for school. I showered my tan off in the morning and had zoom meetings most of the day. I spent the day in this cute pink tie dye set from Andrew's mom:

Wednesday was also Ash Wednesday. I pondered ALL day about what to give up for Lent. I was between coffee, tiktok, and DoorDash. I decided to give up coffee because I have already been trying to limit how much I drink. I love coffee but when I drink it every day and then skip a day, I get really bad headaches. I am a coffee addict. I suffered a few withdrawal headaches but am doing great now! I love my tea so it's the perfect substitute. It was definitely hard to choose because being at college means I already give a lot of things up, like fast food, my car, Target, etc.


THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 18TH

I had a really big presentation Thursday morning on zoom. It was in front of my entire Management 101 company, professors, and a panel of stakeholders. I threw on a turtleneck for the occasion, lol.


After the big meeting, I headed down to the gym with Brenna to our secret room. We love working out here because it's private, quiet, and it's always been available. I do my workouts on the Skimble app, an app I've been using since middle school. They have a ton of different workouts at a ton of different skill levels. I really recommend this if you're looking to change up your workout routine. I do the Ab Bootcamp 16 minute workout and then the Booty Bust workout for 14 minutes. Its only 30 minutes total but you'll really feel it. You burn around 250 calories total with these. I did these every day last semester along with an hour walk outside. I hate walking on treadmills so I am so excited for nicer weather this spring. I miss my campus walks! They were so peaceful and a good time to call my mom or anybody I needed to catch up with.


After the gym I showered and took my afternoon class, then made lentil soup in the microwave. It was a new brand my mom got for me and it was super yummy. I spent the rest of Thursday binge-watching a Netflix show called "Behind Her Eyes".

The first half of the season was REALLY good. I'm still not sure how I feel about the second half and the ending. It was definitely not the ending I was expecting. It's hard to explain it without spoiling anything, but I definitely still recommend watching because it's very different and most of it was very good. It's pretty unexpected!


FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 19TH

Finally Friday!! I took my Friday morning classes and then met Brenna and Emerson at the gym! We even spiced up our gym routine and did a little yoga in the beginning! After the gym we walked up to get our Hello Bistro salads to go again. I got my mixed greens, hard boiled egg, black beans, corn, cheese, croutons, and sunflower seeds with their greek dressing!

I finished up my afternoon class and showered. Then me, Brenna, and Emerson got on the Bucknell shuttle to go to CVS and get our nails done. The shuttle ride ended up being a bust and there was confusion about our stop so we had to walk a little. We got our nails done at Sun Nails. I got acrylic tips, which I don't usually do because gel always lasts for me. But I just wanted to ensure that they'd last me as long as possible. I got this really awesome design on them and I'm OBSESSED with my nails.

We stopped at Tonino's after to grab pizza. We got the yummiest cheese pizza EVER and fried ravioli and mozzarella sticks as appetizers. It's all about balance😂 Then we walked through CVS and walked back to campus!


After getting back to campus, we hungout in Brenna's room and made tiktoks, online shopped, and talked. I ordered 2 new bathing suits from Triangl because I still hadn't gotten many after my surgery. Triangl has sizes called small+ and small++ for girls who are tiny but have big boobs *cough cough, me*. I used to get the Triangl small++ in strapless styles because it was all that would fit. I was finally able to try out a new style! These are the 2 I ordered! :

I can't wait to try these on, they're going to be perfect for summer!! Then Brenna and I DoorDashed slushies from Taco Bell and they were so good. We actually had such a good night on Friday, even though we were limited with what we could do. I got back to my room late and watched "Father of the Bride" on YouTube. I don't know how I've never seen this movie before because it is so cute and I loved it!


SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20TH

I slept in on Saturday and then walked down to pickup mail. I met Brenna and Emerson in the library and got another yummy egg and cheese bagel sandwich with a berry fruit smoothie!

We stayed in the library for awhile and I got so much work done. I did basically all my homework and finished up a bonus blog post that I'll be posting soon. Also, look how cute my nails look with all my cute rings! I decked myself out in jewelry this day for no reason, haha. I had lots more on the other hand too!! And peep the pepper spray on my lanyard😆

After finishing up around 3 or 4, I came back up to my room and did my laundry. I had been dreading it but wanted to just get it over with. Then Brenna and I walked down to Emerson's and we watched the Sex and the City movie with Chipotle! My delish burrito:

We came back up and I got tucked away in bed and watched Father of the Bride 2. Another really great movie. This one had me laughing out loud more than crying, unlike the first one!! I really enjoyed having time this week to watch Netflix and movies.


SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 23RD

My roommate moved on on Sunday! So now I am back with my giant single room and I love it. I stayed in Brenna's room while she moved out and then headed back to the room to deep clean it. I moved the furniture around a little bit and redistributed some of my stuff since I have an extra closet and desk now! Everything came out so nicely and I'm going to Walmart soon to get a few things to decorate. I spent pretty much all of my day cleaning out my room, doing dishes, and washing my extra set of sheets for the other bed. This picture is after my roommate left! I can't wait to show you guys how I redecorated everything! Maybe I'll do a whole post about it?

After I got the room straightened away, I FaceTimed my family and relaxed a little. I ate soup for dinner again, which is one of my favorite things to do especially when its snowy. Then I ended the week my favorite way: mine and Andrew's weekly Hulu/zoom date.

This week was a pretty productive one! A lot has changed too. I'm really excited to start going to the gym 5 days a week and eating healthier with more protein! School hasn't gotten too bad yet, so I feel like its only a matter of time before that kicks in a little. This current week, the 21st, is already my fourth week of classes out of 14 total. How crazy is that? This semester is flying by but I am truly already having the time of my life.
