Hi blog!! Long time no see. I am SO sorry for the fact that I haven't posted in over a month! WTF! I'm back at Bucknell and well into the new semester. I also just had SUCH a fun weekend celebrating my 20th birthday with my friends and Andrew! He flew in to visit for my birthday weekend and it was the most fun ever. Lots has been happening around here!
I am feeling so excited and ready to be back on the blog today! I'm coming at you with a Recent Picks post, February edition! I loved making the November version so I figured I'd share some things I've been loving. A lot of these things were bday gifts too so I have lots to share right now! With that being said, let's get right into today's post!

Last time I told you guys about the Ultra Repair Night Cream. I am still so obsessed with it that I had to try out the Ultra Repair Intense Hydration moisturizer for during the day. I was using up the night cream so quickly that I needed something strictly for daytime as well. This moisturizer feels so amazing on my skin and is making such a big difference to my winter dryness. I will forever recommend First Aid Beauty products!!
Here I am hopping on the Laneige trend... lol! My mom got my sisters and I the Gummy Bear flavor Lip Sleeping Mask for Christmas. I really do think this cute little product is worth the hype. It definitely lasts on my lips longer than traditional lip balms/moisturizers. The smell is also insanely delicious, you'll literally want to eat it. I pop some of this on every night before going to bed.
Alsoooo hopping on the trend with the Dior lip oil. I have the Lip Maximizer in shade "cherry" and I am completely obsessed. I totally understand why everyone is losing their minds about this online. Also the packaging is to die for. I really want to try some other shades out but for now, cherry is perfect. It's a great gloss shade for every day and doesn't go on too red. Do yourself a favor and get one of these while they're in stock!!!
This is another trend, but to be fair I'm pretty sure I bought my first one before I saw the TikToks..? The Maybelline Lifter Lip Gloss is STUNNING. Literally every single shade is so pretty and neutral. I have the Topaz shade which I wear all the time with my Chanel lip liner. I just recently bought the Crystal shade and I'm so excited to try it. I've been seeing ads for these all over TikTok and they are definitely worth it. The thing that really drew me to them was their packaging. They look like KKW beauty lip products. 10/10 recommend. And only $8.89!
I talked about the Lip Injection Extreme plumping gloss in my last post, and I've since taken things up a notch. Now I am addicted to the Lip Injection Maximum Plump, which I'm pretty sure is the most plumping gloss they have. I love all of the Too Faced Lip Injection glosses, so I knew I had to try this one. It did not disappoint and has quickly become my staple purse lip gloss! I just love a good plump.
This cutie was one of my birthday presents! I've been trying to drink more water and I figured bribing myself with a nice water bottle would do the trick. It's definitely working already! I couldn't decide on a color so I let my mom pick when she ordered and she chose the color "olive", which is honestly probably what I would've picked myself! I love that it's still a fun color but also still a neutral. The straw and the handle are the best parts about this Hyrdo Flask. Again, this is totally a product that I think is worth the hype.
Ahhhh my new kicks!! I am obsessed with these new Nike sneakers my mom bought me on my birthday. If you know me, you know I literally only wear white or black shoes, and I am extremely particular about sneakers. My mom showed me these shoes and I couldn't get over how cute they were, but it didn't register in my brain to consider getting them because of the yellow pop of color, lol! After admiring them, we decided I should at least try them on. I had to size down half a size actually because they were a little big. BUT they are by far the comfiest shoes I have ever worn. I am so obsessed with them and LOVE that I have a "fun" pair of shoes. (And yes, I know these aren't even that crazy, but they are for me!!😂)
My mom is the cutest and got me and my sisters these Kendra Scott heart necklaces for Valentine's Day. I just can't get over how pretty the rose gold chain and the sparkly pink stone are. This is such a perfect necklace to wear daily and to give as a gift.
My mom got me a Baublebar BLANKET with my name on it!! I've been literally dying for one of these but I never really could justify buying another blanket when I have a thousand. I was so happy to get this for my birthday and it has quickly become my favorite blanket and sits on the end of my bed to display my name! I love it because it's warm but not too thick/bulky or hot. I am obsessed.
Lastly, my Marc Jacobs bag. I got this bag for Christmas and have hardly put it down since. This bag is the absolute perfect shape and size for what I need daily. I like how it keeps its shape so I don't have to constantly be digging around to get things from inside. It's just perfection! The fur around the edge is the perfect touch for winter and the crinkled leather is so ME. I love wearing this on my shoulder with the shoulder strap or just carrying it by the small handles.
Thank you guys so much for reading today AND for being patient with me while I've been a little absent on here. I'm going to try to figure out what day of the week works best to be my posting day like I did last semester. I'm currently thinking Fridays but that may change once I check out my schedule!
I also have a lot of fun things coming up... a trip home (=shopping), new bathing suits, a spring break trip, and more! So I promise that there will be some pretty exciting things coming up on the blog.
